We started with just one program in Switzerland 25 years ago, and now there are Nespresso recycling initiatives in 39 countries and more than 14,000 collection points worldwide.

How is the process?
Aluminium is infinitely recyclable. We use aluminium for the capsules protecting our Grands Crus to ensure you get the freshest cup of quality coffee every time. It provides the best protection against oxygen, light and humidity, which can really affect taste.
But that’s just the start of it — aluminium is also 100 percent and infinitely recyclable, meaning Nespresso coffee capsules start as and become new aluminium products once recycled. What else? Check it out below.
